the scientific method must be employed as the basis for drawing conclusions regarding paranormal claims. Science is not a panacea for all explanation, but regarding paranormal claims it remains, by far, the best method. Let's not fall into the trap of abandoning science and logic because of curiosity and imagination. Rather, let's use curiosity and imagination as a springboard to the scientific method in order to draw accurate conclusions regarding mysteries of the universe
I'm always a sceptic whenever the words "scientific" and "paranormal" come together. Science will only accept issues as 'matter of fact' if it can be recreated/examined/studied under laboratory conditions. The difficulty is that the paranormal will not submit to such constraints, if it did there would be as much interest in studying the subject as there is in studying a glass of water.
Paranormal activity is beyond the realm of what we understand as our own scientific boundaries, largely because science still subscribes to the rule that if it can't be recreated under laboratory conditions, it therefore cannot exist. It's a closed mind viewpoint.

I agree Dave, Im not sure if Science can even began to exsplain the paranormal, perhaps it is not as scientific as one thinks(supernatural) to me its something man can not grasp, and it will take a few evolutions before we can. lol I was on a forum a while ago and got into a huge debate over science being able to proove everything including the paranormal. I have found that majority of people say science can proove it all..I beg to differ.. perhaps science can proove the paranormal like I said after a few human evolutions if were even going to evolve again haha..

I think science can be used to rule out any natural explanations for what proves to be a supernatural event. There are plenty of miraculous cures that medical science can not explain. (ask any doctor that has seen this happen and undoubtedly he/she will say they can't explain it but they saw it. They believe in miracles.)
I think with die-hard skeptics they will never believe in the possibility of the supernatural and/or the unexplained until and unless they actually witness an event such as this. It's always very sad to me that they have such closed minds. Some things just can't be scientifically proved or disproved...you just have to accept that.

I agree with ya beth, its as if these people closed themselves off to such things when they were young, ya know actualy some of these people are probably afraid of the unknown,..that would explain their skeptisim ya know..but it will prove to help us if everyone had more open minds in this world..
