I forgot to add mine!haha well Ive had a few moments where I just was so scared, I was driving with my big sis, and twin sis, and my big sis was driving, I was in the passengers seat, and it was dark out,I was rather little, probably around 6 years old, and we were driving down a country road, well, as we crossed some traintracks, there was this huge thing coming towards us with flashing lights, it was on the drivers side of the road, and my big sis says "oh my god you guys , its a spaceship"!! lol and I freaked, my face imediatly was pressed against the windshield with my eyes bugging out of my head, and I said "holy S*it"!l I was so scared, and I beleived everything my sister said, so I fell for her joke, but it wasn't funny to me, she than said just kidding its a tractor haha, but I was still shaking from the fear, and Ill never forget it actualy looked like a spaceship coming towards us.. okay well lets see, one time I was driving on the exspress way, and I was in the middle lane, it was dark and cold and raining outside.I was jammin to some music realy loud, and all of a sudden my car lost power, but I heard something like a big bang right before it lost power, so I was going about 85mph and I gripped the wheel so hard, I began freaking out becuase I was trying to get over on the side of the highway and semi's were everwhere, I swear to god, I wasn't even paying attention to the road, it was as if something guided me over to the side, becuase I was not paying attention to where the other cars were or semis, and I just made my way over there without even looking...since I was panicking instead.. so I made it over there and the car just died. I was just so afraid, I realized I was safe, and I walked over to phone at a warehouse, the funny thing is, I ended up by the warehouse which supplied my work with all our merchandise, ya know the same company..so I felt blessed for that, oh and come to find out , I neglected to change the oil, so it was my fault that I killed the engine... what a learning exprience!!

Funny, Dave's wife said the same event was her scariest moment... The most recent scariest moment for me was on 9/11/01. I was living in Australia at the time and heard about what was happening in my hometown, NYC, on the local news. I just sat stunned and scared to death for my family and friends living through that nightmare. I called home while still glued to the television coverage and asked about my family....were they in NYC? Were they in the WTC area? Were they safe? Thankfully, my family was spared. Then I remembered some dear old friends who I knew worked in the World Trade Centre. My body was gripped by that cold feeling of dread and fear for them. At this point I was frantic for news of my friends....were they in the buildings? Were they perhaps out sick? On vacation? Late for work? On the phone with my parents, they told me their yard in Brooklyn was filling with ashes and burnt papers from the Trade Centre. It was all so surreal and unbelievable. I kept saying, "This isn't happening, this isn't real." After holding vigil in front of my television all night and day and placing several phone calls to NY I was told about my friends. Judy was safe. I had grown up with Judy...we went to school together...she went into the banking industry after university and had landed a great job in The World Trade Centre. At first she said she wasn't even in the area that day, but after a few days she broke down and cried and said she had been in the building, thankfully on one of the lower floors and she had gotten out. She was so traumatised by the event that she couldn't even admit she had been there to herself. Years later, she's still emotionally scarred by the event. Bobby was a Port Authority policeman. He was assigned to the Trade Centre area and he loved his job. He was always the one his friends turned to when they needed help with something. He loved people and just wanted to help everyone. Bobby was lost that day helping people escape the area. Matty "O" was the unofficial NYC tour guide for anyone who came to visit NYC. He knew ALL the best places to go and have a great time. He was known in ALL the pubs, restaurants and clubs in NYC. He was life itself. He was charming and witty and had the biggest and kindest heart I have ever known. He was a financial wizard and had landed a plum job at Cantor Fitzgerald which occupied the top floors of the WTC. When the building was hit that morning his first thoughts were to call his family. He called his mother and told her he didn't know what would happen but that he loved her...he had tried to call his wife but couldn't reach her directly and told his mum to tell his wife he loved her as well. He hung up to try to get out of the building. Matty "O" was lost that day with all but a handful of his co-workers at Cantor Fitzgerald. I've since moved back to NYC and I've stood on the ground where my friends spent their last moments along with thousands of other souls in the airplanes, in the buildings and on the ground. It is sacred ground. It is eerily silent, even in the middle of NYC. It is the site of the scariest moment in my life. Second scariest moment of my life was when I met Dave!

(d**n nuisance when my keyboard makes that "squelchy" sound whenever I type anything but there you have it)...is it the way I lose control of my ahdjkgfhtrhgeroghvrbgerjkgbbvbr djsbfjkrfhvtgb bvtbv speech faculties?...is it because when I put my shoes and socks on I do it in that order? C'mon...give or I will sack you from your post as my US Agent when I become the first Official Monster Raving Looney Party Prime Minister in the UK.

lol...yes Dave it's those things you mentioned plus the fact that when you snore the neighbours all duck for cover thinking another blitz is coming....not to mention the wind tunnel effect you produce when you've eaten too many beans. Your poor family has to hang onto the door frame to avoid being blown out of the house! Also the sight of you upon waking up in the morning frightens the daylights out of your family! And when you approach the family pet with that rubber glove on....YIKES! ;D
Pretty scary stuff that!

You mean like this one? home.ripway.com/2005-4/297137/escapeattempt.jpgI'll have you know I ended up wetter then the dog. Then again I always do. I suppose this is HER scariest moment because she hates being bathed and spends the next month or so growling at me everytime I walk into the room and staring me out with that "You Bastard" look in her eyes.
